About Me.
Hi!
My name is Fatema ‘Fate’ Hoque and I am a professionally certified makeup + hair + nail artist located in Downtown Toronto, focusing on Film & TV work.
I am a horror/sci-fi buff and makeup has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I finally decided to combine two of my loves and graduated in the top of my class from C|MU College of Makeup Art and Design in Toronto - renowned in the Film & TV/Fashion Industry - from their Complete Makeup Artist Program (a dream that was 10 years in the making!).
I also have an Hons. B.Sc. from McMaster University in Neuroscience, Psychology, & Behaviour; as well as an Ontario College Advanced Diploma from George Brown College in Behavioural Science Technology. This education allowed me to work in one of the best jobs in my life as an Instructor Therapist for autistic children. This helps me bring a lot of empathy, patience, understanding, and care into everything I do, with everyone I meet.
I love all things design and enjoy incorporating minimalist and modern elements into my work. That being said, I am DIY fanatic and can do it all: makeup, SPFX, hair, nails, props & accessories, styling, you name it!
